Delivering single towable RVs is a job many undertake as their first commercial driving experience.  One mistake we recommend avoiding is the investment in a brand new diesel pick-up before knowing the trade well.  Some RV Transport Pros learn the industry with a gently used truck, then if they see fit, upgrade to a more expensive model later.  This makes a great deal of sense as the trade is not suitable to everyone.  Better to get to know it with a vehicle that won’t cripple you financially should you choose to bow out several months after launch.  The upside here is that most towable delivery work is “drop and hook”.  The driver rarely gets his or her hands dirty.  When a delivery is made, you’ve got a nice diesel truck to get you to your next point of origin, or back home again.
